I was an in-state student at the time and heard that it's much easier to get in as an in-state student. For out of state students, I've heard you have to have really good grades and SAT scores.

I got into much better schools (NESCACS etc.) but chose UVM because I thought I liked the atmosphere and culture better than the others, I see now that I was wrong. The kids are somewhat shallow and there's nothing to do most of the time... the administration has really been a buzz kill for a school that used to be a lot of fun.
